Employment History

Soundflavor, Inc. [1] is a Bay Area startup that provides music search and recommendation services to businesses and consumers.

I'm one half of the two-developer team that built Soundflavor DJ [2] (reviews: Lifehacker [3] , ABC News [4] , Pollstar [5] ), a music player companion for Windows and Mac OS X. I built Soundflavor DJ's song recommendation engine, its audio fingerprinting library, and accompanying web services to power its song identification and recommendations.

While continuing to work on Soundflavor DJ, I'm now managing development of the upcoming soundflavor.com, an online music/playlist sharing platform, designed in conjunction with Adaptive Path [6] .
